Tychem® TK exhibits excellent chemical barrier properties and offers an extremely durable fabric that is puncture- and tear-resistant, yet is also supple and lightweight.Permeation data for Tychem® TK fabric are available for more than 300 chemicals. For more than 270 of these chemicals no breakthrough has been observed during a test duration of 480 minutes.The required resistance to permeation for the 15 chemicals listed in EN 943-2 has been met for Tychem® TK fabric, visor, inner layer glove and seams.
The Tychem® TK garment is specifically developed for protection against toxic, corrosive gases, liquids and solid chemicals and is suited for industrial, HazMat and domestic preparedness applications.
